FA-RISE

FA-RISE: The Gas (Pressure) Spring
The classic product for a wide range of applications

FA-RISE gas springs are used wherever a wide variety of loads need to be lifted, moved, and supported in specified positions. FA-RISE gas spring designs offer optimal extension speed and damping to ensure a high level of comfort across a broad range of applications.

Our portfolio includes gas springs with piston rod diameters ranging from 6 mm for smaller loads up to 20 mm for extremely high forces until 5.000 newtons.

These are perfectly tailored to the specific application on customer request.

Hydraulic or dynamic damping?
Perfectly tuned kinematics for all applications

Hydaulic damping:

The gas flows through the piston within the pneumatic (gas) section of the stroke. Upon reaching the hydraulic (oil) section, the speed is damped by the higher viscosity of the fluid.
This function is dependent on the installation position of the gas spring.

Dynamic damping:

The internal gas flow occurs through the lengthwise groove in the cylinder. This design utilizes both a constant cross-section and a tapered cross-section for end-of-stroke damping. This gas spring solution provides an optimized and position-independent extension
speed as well as end-of-stroke damping for the gas spring.
